Five friends are inspired by an antique Pennsylvania Dutch Sampler. There are 7 projects in this booklet for you to cross stitch, which include: Sarah Tobias, Blooms for Sarah, Pins & Tulips Pincushion, Sarah’s ABC Pincushion, Morning of Life, For My Daughter and Flowers for Sarah Needle Case.

These designs are primitive/colonial in nature and use soft, muted variegated floss from Gentle Arts and Weeks Dye Works and mostly stitched on higher count linens. These designs were fashioned after an original antique sampler from 1830-1840, that the authors found in Tenn. In this book you will see pictures of the original sampler and a short history of the young girl who stitched it, along w/all the designs. A beautiful booklet you will want to read/stitch from start to finish and keep for years to come!
